Scanner Update – Smarter CSV File Naming

  ▸ Only allow Sell trades when RSI < Param2

Note: These two filters now support a new Third Setting, allowing more flexible logic — this feature will expand to other filters in future versions.

A structure-based stop-loss and take-profit method that uses the most recent swing high/low for better alignment with price action.
Ideal for traders who want SL/TP levels that reflect actual market structure, not just indicator values.

New Risk Control: Max Trades Per Day

You can now limit how many trades a strategy can place per day.
Once the set number of trades is reached, the strategy will pause for the rest of the day.

Hull Shield 1.1.0 Reprogrammed (Histogram Mode)

Hull Shield has been fully re-engineered to use histogram mode and now appears in a separate indicator window under the chart.
Previously it was drawn as a line, which occasionally caused a rare repainting issue and could lead to inconsistent backtest and live results.
To use Hull Shield with Scanner/Autotrader 1.5.2, please download and install Hull Shield 1.1.0.

SL/TP System Improvements

1. Clearer Naming

• The old PSAR SL/TP mode has been renamed to PSAR (Last Candle).
  It uses the PSAR value from the most recent closed candle and is now named to better reflect its behavior.

2. New SL/TP Mode — PSAR (Last Flip Point)

A new, smarter PSAR-based SL/TP method has been added:

• PSAR (Last Flip Point) scans backward to locate the most recent PSAR flip (trend reversal) and uses the first PSAR dot of the new wave.

• This corresponds to the most recent structural swing high/low and provides a stronger, more reliable SL/TP placement.

This creates a more robust, price-structure-based stop-loss option for advanced strategies.

SLTP Parameter 1 (and default –1 behavior)

All SL/TP Types now support a secondary tuning parameter called SLTP Parameter 1.

How the parameter behaves depends on SL/TP Type:

• ATR mode:
  SLTP Parameter 1 = ATR Period

• PSAR modes:
  SLTP Parameter 1 = PSAR Step

• Fixed mode:
  SLTP Parameter 1 is not used

Default behavior (value = –1):
When SLTP Parameter 1 is set to –1, FxMagnetic uses the recommended defaults:

• ATR → 14

• PSAR → 0.02 (for all FxMagnetic apps)
  Note: FxMagnetic Parabolic Scanner is special — it automatically uses the PSAR Step defined in the main panel to ensure matching values.

• Fixed → not used

Improved Input Handling

A small improvement was added to make the Scanner more resilient when users enter values below the minimum allowed settings in the panel inputs.

Autotrader-Only Updates

New: Close & Pause Trading on MCL Breach

A new safety feature has been added to protect accounts when losing streaks occur.

This feature includes 3 settings:

1. Close & Pause Trading On MCL Breach (on/off)

2. If MCL Reaches X — number of consecutive losses allowed

3. Close And Delete Orders? — choose whether to:

   • close all open trades and pause trading, or

   • simply pause trading and leave existing trades active

This makes it easier to protect accounts from spiraling drawdowns and meets strict prop-firm risk rules.

• Error 133 Handling (Trade Disabled)
  ▸ If the broker rejects a trade due to Error 133 (Trade is Disabled), Autotrader will no longer retry to avoid spamming the broker server or triggering violations.

• Bollinger Band Breakout Filter (Inverse Logic)
  ▸ Allow BUY trades only when price is above the Upper Bollinger Band
  ▸ Allow SELL trades only when price is below the Lower Bollinger Band
  This is the opposite of the previous filter and is great for traders who want to catch momentum breakouts instead of reversals.

• New Feature: “Buy/Sell Button” for Manual Signal Execution
  ▸ A button now appears next to the current signal if no trade has yet been placed for it.

• New Parameter: Leave Remaining Position Without TP
  ▸ When using multiple positions per signal, you now have full control over the last remaining position in the trade bucket.
  ▸ If enabled: The final position runs without a take-profit, allowing it to be closed by an opposite signal or manually.
  ▸ If disabled: The final position will have a TP set according to the Take Profit Multiplier, just like the other positions.
  ▸ Previously, leaving the last position without TP was the default — now it’s fully customizable.

• Improved Handling for Low-Balance Situations
  ▸ If the first position in a multi-position trade fails due to insufficient funds, the Autotrader will now skip the rest of the positions in that group.
  ▸ This prevents partial or inconsistent execution and adds a layer of safety when managing limited capital.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE: Combined Installer for Individual Apps

Starting with version 1.3.5, the following FxMagnetic apps now come with a single download that includes both the Scanner (Indicator) and the Autotrader:

HHM, Pinbar, Engulfing, STAR, Onyx, and Phoenix

Previously, each of these apps had two separate downloads — one for the Scanner and one for the Autotrader — resulting in a total of 12 download links.

Now, each app is packaged as one unified ZIP file (6 total downloads), and inside that file, you’ll find both the Scanner and the Autotrader.

🔹 If you see that the Autotrader download link is disabled, don’t worry — it’s intentional.
🔹 Just download the main app (Scanner), and you’ll find everything you need in that single package.

This change simplifies the download process and ensures you always have the matching Scanner and Autotrader version for each app.

Scanner 1.3.3 Updates

• New Secondary Parameter for Trade Filter – Now, trade filters have two levels of control:

  • Primary Parameter – Adjusts the core period-related setting, such as:
    • Period for SMA, EMA, RSI, Bollinger Bands, and MACD (Fast EMA)
    • Step for Parabolic SAR (PSAR)
  • Secondary Parameter – Fine-tunes additional settings for greater flexibility:
    • Deviation for Bollinger Bands

Autotrader 1.3.3 Updates

• NEW: “Failsafe Guard” SL/TP Recovery Mechanism – This advanced safety feature ensures that if a trade opens without a Stop Loss (SL) or Take Profit (TP) due to broker execution delays or other issues, the Autotrader will:

  1. Retry setting SL/TP as soon as conditions allow.
  2. Close the trade immediately if it breaches the intended SL/TP levels before the protection can be applied.
     This extra layer of security helps prevent unprotected trades and unexpected losses.

• Fixed Lot Size Calculation for Gold & CFD Pairs – Resolved an issue where lot sizes were miscalculated for Gold and certain CFD pairs, ensuring accurate position sizing across all markets.
